Tommy W. Tucker, 55, of Fitzgerald, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, November 30, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Tucker was born January 8, 1957 in Ocilla to the late Kenneth Walton and Ann Hudson Tucker. He lived all of his life in Ocilla and Fitzgerald and was retired from Delphi. He was a member of the Ocilla Country Club, where he loved to play golf, Young Farmers, and the Fitzgerald Optimist Club. He was a member of the Ocilla Church of God.
He is survived by his wife: Debbie Tucker of Fitzgerald; daughter: Tiffany Ann Tucker of Fitzgerald; brother: Johnny (Penny) Tucker of Ocilla; mother-in-law: Mildred (Aldeen) Solomon of Fitzgerald; sister-in-law: Sally (Doug) Wilkerson of Fitzgerald; brothers-in-law: Aubrey (Julie) Nicholson and Jason Troupe, all of Fitzgerald; nieces and nephews: Brett Troupe, Megan Troupe, Harry & Christine Tucker, Newt & Cheryl Tucker, Randy Wilkerson, and Jessica McDonald; and great-nieces and nephews: Drew, Gracie, and J.T. Tucker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Aubrey Nicholson.
