Mrs. Ruth G. (Hauck) Arguin, of Cape Coral, Fla. and formerly of Taunton, died Wednesday, November 21 in The Windsor of Cape Coral following a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland G. “Jug” Arguin for 49 years. She was born 85 years ago in Wellesley, Ma., the daughter of the late James J. and Agnes M. (Weisslinger) Hauck. She was educated in Raynham and Taunton and had been a Taunton resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the City of Taunton School Department for a number of years. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 2 daughters: Rhoda A. Reyburn and her husband, Todd of Kokomo, Ind., and Rhonda J. Arguin-Lopes and her husband, Bruce of Ft. Myers, Fla.; 2 sisters: Agnes Cabana of Taunton and Dorothy Walford of Wareham; 5 grandsons, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was also the sister of the late James J. Hauck, Jr. of Raynham.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, November 28 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M..
