WYLIE - Rollie M. Wylie, 75, passed away Friday morning, November 23, 2012 at her Yulee residence. Mrs. Wylie was born October 19, 1937 in Alamo, GA and moved to the Yulee area in 1954.
She loved family gatherings and was an accomplished cook. She was a devoted mother and dearly loved her grand and great grand children. She also enjoyed reading. Mrs. Wylie attended Liberty Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Wylie; a sister, Jeanette White; brothers, Bob Evans, Roger Evans and Clyde Evans; a sister in law, Gladys Mills and her parents, Johnny and Lynever Clements Evans.
Survivors include two sons, Robert F. Wylie, Jr. (Bonnie) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Brad Wylie (Tess) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; three daughters, Ruth Darlington (John) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Deborah Thornton (John) , also of Fernandina Beach and Lynn Wylie of Raleigh, NC; sister-in-law, Mildred Wright of Scotland, GA; two brothers, Jimmy Evans of Spring Hill, FL and John Evans of Jacksonville, FL; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Pastor Dolton W. Robertson, II officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
