Holyoke, MA – Kevin J. O’Connor, age 91, formerly of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was born on September 9, 1921 in Chicopee Falls, MA to the late Patrick T. and Catherine (Manning) O’Connor. Kevin is predeceased by his loving wife of 44 years, Marion Helen (Reardon) O’Connor, and his brothers, Thomas E., Robert M. and Francis P. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Kevin and is wife lived in Medford, MA where he worked as a corrections officer for many years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Kevin was a former communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Chicopee Falls and St. Joseph’s Church and St Raphael’s Church in Medford. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 P.M at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 10:00 A.M at the Grise Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 11:00 A.M. in Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Assumption Church (104 Springfield St, Chicopee) with burial to follow in St Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. St. Vincent Nursing Home, 35 Holy Family Road, Holyoke, MA 01040 or to the Thomas E.
