Obituary

Thomas H. Hodge, Jr., 81, of Medway and formerly of Lincoln, Delaware and Glen Bernie, Maryland, died November 21 in the Milford Regional Healthcare Center in Milford. He was the husband of the late Audrey E. (Miller) Hodge, who died in 2011.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, December 25, 1930, the son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Schoenfelder) Hodge, Sr., Mr. Hodge was raised in Baltimore and had lived in Glen Burnie for many years before moving to Delaware where he lived until coming to Medway four years ago.
He was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore.
Mr. Hodge had been a superintendent for the General Motors Corporation in its parts department for over thirty years.
Mr. Hodge served in the Navy during the Korean War.
He was a member of the American Legion, the Moose Club and the Elks Club.
Mr. Hodge had been a volunteer at Norwood Hospital and had previously been a hospital volunteer in Delaware.
He is survived by his children, Rick Hodge and his wife Lynn of Atlanta, Georgia, Kathy Brau and her husband Bob of Walpole and Steven Hodge and his wife Terry of Medway.
He is also survived by his siblings Katherine Rachuba of Baltimore and Patricia Aylmer of Bel Air, and Timothy Hodge of Cockeysville, Maryland.
He was the brother of the late Joseph Hodge.
He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-granddaughters.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 27 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home 3 Barber Street in Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Bethany Healthcare Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, MA 01702.
