John R. Huling 86, of Natick died Tuesday November 20, 2012, surrounded by his loving family,at the Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was the beloved husband of Teresa A. (Sheils) Huling, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.
A Natick resident for 56 years he was born in Hartford CT. the son of the late Edwin and Christina (Burke) Huling.
Mr. Huling was the owner of Natick Vacuum Cleaner Service which he operated on Pond Street for for over 50 years retiring in 2008.
He previously operated Natick Appliance Sales and Service at Clark's Block on Main Street.
Mr. Huling was well known by his many customers for providing excellent service, a unique ability to fix virtually any product in an a friendly downtown shop setting.
He was also a talented musician playing for many in several Natick bands and also enjoyed stamp and coin collecting.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his seven devoted children John Huling and his wife Joanna of MD, Thomas Huling and his wife Diana of St. Louis, MO. Robert Huling and his wife Sherry of Dallas, TX. Karen Reardon and her companion David Vickstrom of Medway, Pamela Aronson and her husband Scott of Grafton, Janice Whitney and her husband David of Medway, Martha Huling of Framingham, one brother Edwin Huling of Vermont, 14 grandchildren, Ryan,Jennifer, Dane, Kathleen, Maureen, Deborah, Kristin, Shannon, Gregory,Jeremy, Adam, Christian, Emily Rose, Ashleigh, one great-grandchild Ariana Grace.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend John 's Funeral Mass on Monday November 26 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Patricks Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick. Burial will follow in St Patrick Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of ones' choice.
