Edward L. Rutter
November 14, 1923 to November 19, 2012

Edward L. Rutter, 89, Anderson, died November 19, 2012 at Rawlins House in Pendleton after a brief illness.

Edward was born in Mount Carmel, IL on November 14, 1923 to Clarence R. and Sarah Rutter.

Edward graduated from Butler with a doctorate in pharmacy. He was a pharmacist for 54 years owned Edgewood Pharmacy and worked at Low Cost Pharmacy South; Tanke Pharmacy and Hollon's Pharmacy.

He served in US Army during WW II.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Community Church in Huntsville, IN.

He was a member of Anderson Country Club and Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne (Johnson) Rutter of Anderson; 6 children David (Susan) Rutter of Clearwater, FL; Cindy (Dick) Aucutt of Wausau, WI; Kathy (George) Vrabel of Valparaiso, IN; Michelle (John) Connell of Anderson; John (Danielle) Guion of Anderson; Kevin (Jill) Guion of Lapel, IN; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Peggy) Bell) Rutter in 1985; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Service will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Claude Creel of Good Shepherd Community Church officiating with military rites.

Visitation will be Friday, November 23 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
