Richard Tyrone Pires Sr., age 34 of New Bedford, passed away accidentally on November 18, 2012. He was the husband of Kelly Marie Carney-Pires and the son of Richard & Lola (Pires) Viveiros. He currently worked as a mechanic.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother: Louise Cardoza; children: Cory Pires, Alexis Pires, Richard Pires Jr., Ayden, Caleb, & Brendan; siblings: Michael Pires & Alicia Pires both of New Bedford, Justin Viveiros of Fall River, Shelley Rose Viveiros of Westport & Josh Smith of New York; several nieces & nephews.
Calling hours will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on FRIDAY from 6:00-9:00 P.M. with a service here at 6:30 P.M. Cremation to follow.
