Warren Scott Lees
Retired Greater Lawrence Vocational School Teacher

TEWKSBURY: Warren Scott Lees, age 79, a Tewksbury resident for 50 years, formerly of Somerville, passed away suddenly, Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH.
He was the beloved husband of Jeanette K. (Nilsen) Lees, with whom he celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on June 4, 2012.
Born in Cambridge on July 1, 1933, he was the son of the late Warren S. Lees and the late Alice (Hutchings) Lees.
Mr. Lees was a graduate of Somerville High School and Franklin Technical School.
From 1953 to 1955, he served in the U.S. Army with the 45th Transportation Company. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his military service.
Prior to his retirement in 1996, he was employed as a Teacher at the Greater Lawrence Vocational High School. Mr. Lees previously owned and operated the Citgo Service Station located at the junctions of Main and Chandler Streets in Tewksbury.
He was a longtime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Chelmsford. In addition, he was a member and Past Master of the Wamesit Masonic Lodge AF & AM of Tewksbury.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by three children, Scott Lees and his wife Jen Meers, Douglas Lees and his wife Karla, and Jennifer Lees-Manseau and her husband David; four grandchildren, Kathryn, Rebecca, Nora and Lowell Lees; four sisters, Barbara Roberts, Shirley Lawson, Alice Schofield and Linda Keeley; also many nieces, nephews and other beloved family members.
Mr. Lees was pre-deceased by two brothers, Robert and James Lees; four sisters, Dorothy Jakobsen, Theresa Griffith, Ruth Brown, and Elaine Raso.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m., in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 170 Old Westford Road, Chelmsford. There will not be a procession from the funeral home.
