Marion L. (Hourihan) Weisinger, 79, of Salem, NH died Thursday, Nov. 15th at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA.
Marion was born and educated in Somerville, MA and graduated from St. Joseph High School.
She retired from the IRS in Andover, MA where she worked for 25 years. Marion was a devoted mother and grandmother and she loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, the beach, traveling and going out to eat.
She is the widow of Francis Weisinger.
She is survived by her son, John Weisinger of Salem, NH
her daughter, Susan and husband Thomas Tetreault, Jr. of Salem, NH
her siblings, John Hourihan of St. Petersburg, FL and Eileen McCarthy of Woburn, MA;
5 grandchildren, Stefanie, Thomas III, Kevin, Nicholas and Tyler and several nieces and nephews
Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 20th from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, NH. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
