CHICOPEE – Jordan R. Kasperowski, 18, of Chicopee, was Called Home on Tuesday November 13, 2012. He was born in Springfield on September 12, 1994, a beloved son of Todd J. Kasperowski and Jennifer L. (Zern) Kasperowski and lived in Chicopee for most of his life. Jordan was a student and football player at Chicopee Comprehensive High School. He was also employed at Burger King on Memorial Drive in Chicopee. An avid New England sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics. Jordan also enjoyed snowboarding at many of the local ski areas and camping with his brothers and many friends. He leaves his loving mother, Jennifer L. (Zern) Kasperowski and her partner, Michael Gold of Southwick; his loving father, Todd J. Kasperowski and his wife, Sonia of Chicopee; his cherished brothers and sisters, Davin Kasperowski, USMC in Georgia, Alexis Zern and Arianna Leon, both of Southwick, Jake, Luke and Ross Alvaro, all of Chicopee and Daniele Gold of Southwick; his dear maternal grandparents, Theodore and Roxanne Zern of Agawam; his dear paternal grandmother, Dale King of Chicopee; his dear paternal great-grandmother, Annette Schmidt of Chicopee; his dear uncle, Todd Zern and his wife, Jaye of Seattle, WA; and his dear aunt,Trista Valego of Holyoke. He also leaves his many dear cousins, friends and extended family members in the local area as well as Wisconsin and Pittsburgh, PA. He was predeceased by his beloved paternal grandfather, Robert Kasperowski and his beloved paternal great-grandfather, Jacob Schmidt. His relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will be private at the convenience of his family. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His family has requested that memorial donations be made in his memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, PO Box 417, West Springfield, MA 01090.
