LAWRENCE – Gary Robert Lucas, 58, formerly of Lawrence passed away Monday at his Fitzwilliam, NH home.
He was the son of the late Edward F. and Barbara A. (Miller) Lucas.
Raised and educated in Lawrence, early in his career he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served our country.
Always known as someone who worked exceptionally well with hands he was a self employed contractor, framer and finish work carpenter and was sought by many for his talents.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and cooking. He had great passion and knowledge of motorcycles and looked forward to the freedom of the road on his Harley-Davidson.
Family members include a son, Eric R. Lucas of Florida; two brothers, the late Edward F. Lucas and Derick J. Lucas of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sisters, Cynthia L. Tolentino of Danvers and Wendy Fragala and her husband Richard of Litchfield, New Hampshire; nieces and nephews and extended family; also his cherished companion Lou Anne LeBlanc and children.
