Obituary

Edgar R. “Hollywood” Frigon 91, of Main St. Woonsocket, died November 7, 2012 at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Centre. He was the husband of the late Dorothy I. Frigon. Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Donat and Marie (Beauregard) Frigon. Edgar was a machinist for the Draper Corporation for thirty years before retiring in 1980. He was a WWII 82nd Airborne Army Veteran and fought in Sicily, Africa and the European Theatre and was the recipient of two Purple Hearts.

He is survived by a step son Jerome D. Moynihan, and his wife Lorraine, of Woonsocket, a daughter Ann Marie Frigon of Brigham, UT, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and a sister Delores Larue and her husband Emilian of Cumberland. However, he was especially close to Lisa (Dillon) Martin and her husband John, and their daughter Erin, and Katie and Liz Moynihan. He was also the brother of the late Armand Frigon.

A committal service will be held Friday at 11:00AM in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery Chapel.
