Devoted wife of Dr. Peter J. Magner, M.D. of Hingham. Loving mother of Daniel of NY, Peter and his wife Annie of OH, Luke and his wife Dina of Weymouth, Timothy and his wife Jill of WI and the late Suzanne M. Dekkers. Sister of Joseph Hohmann of Roslindale, Virginia Byrne of Braintree and Frank Hohmann of UT. Beloved Grammy to Frances, Peter, Samual, Nicholas and Aidan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Prior to taking care of her family Margaret worked as a registered nurse. Margaret was an active member of Saint Paul's Parish in Hingham for many years. She was a longtime volunteer at the Meals on Wheels program in Hingham. She was a graduate of Mission Hill High School and St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Boston where she recently attended a class reunion. Margaret had been looking forward to this reunion as she had kept in touch with many of her classmates over the years.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Friday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in Saint Paul's Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
Burial in Saint Paul's Cemetery, Hingham.
