Filippo Magno, age 78 of Medford MA, died Friday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford, after a brief illness.Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Lucia (Scenna) Magno. Filippo was a Medford resident for the past 30 years, formerly of the North End of Boston and Italy.
He was a Laborer, employed in the construction industry, retiring in 1970. Mr. Magno was a member of Local 22 and the Orsogna Plaza Society of Everett.
He is survived by hiswife Teresina (Scenna) Magno Medford, MAson Domenic Magno Medford, MAdaughter Lucia Pezzano Medford, MAgrandchildren Anthony, Lucia & Lisa great grandson Mario brother Nicolo Magno Medford, MAsister Filomena Tenaglia Medford, MAsister Serafina Canada sister Carmela Argentina sister Angela Canadapredeceased brother Vittorio Magno Many Nieces & Nephews
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church, 779 Fellsway, Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 5 thru 9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
