James "Jim" Wininger
August 26, 1917- November 12, 2012

James "Jim" Wininger, 95, of Anderson, died November 12, 2012 at St. John's Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness. He was born on August 26, 1917 in Knox Co, Indiana the son of John H. Wininger and Maude Stokley Wininger. He was employed by Container Corporation for 28 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of East Side Church of God and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He married Martha (Brough) Wininger on October 26, 1946 in Vincennes, IN.

SURVIVORS: 2 Children, Margaret (Garry) Smith of Anderson and Mary Jo Williams of Italy
a brother, Charles Wininger of Anderson, 2 Grandchildren who were the light of his life, Camden Smith of Naples, FL and Jason Williams of Italy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 12:00pm at the Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Glen Cox officiating. Entombment will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Honor Guard Post 266.

The visitation will be on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 11:00am until 12:00 noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Christian Center.
