Fred VanBuskirk, 89, of Anderson died November 9, 2012 at Millers Merry Manor in Chesterfield.
He was born on May 10, 1923 in Madison County, the son of John VanBuskirk and Mary Hysinger VanBuskirk.
He was employed by Container Corporation for 36 years retiring in 1985. Attending the Living Waters Church. He enjoyed watching westerns and playing with his dog Daisy.
SURVIVORS:3 children: Linda VanBuskirk Baute Shambaugh of Indianapolis, Barbara Ellis (husband Michael) and Larry VanBuskirk (Kim) all of Anderson. 6 Grandchildren: Aaron Baute (Jennifer), Jason Ellis, Rachel Ellis, Larry Gene VanBuskirk, Jamie Schooley (Paul) and Joshua VanBuskirk (Crissie) 15 Great Grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Wife, Sallie V.(Bilbrey) VanBuskirk, 2 Brothers, Irvin and Roy and a sister, Marie Brown.
The funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Bill Ledbetter officiating. The committal service will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, with burial to follow.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 11:00 until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
