Helen (Magistrate) Resevic, of Jamaica Plain and St. Croix, formerly of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at her home on November 8, 2012. She was 94 years old.
Born in Bridgewater, Helen was a graduate of Bridgewater High School, Boston University and received her masters Degree in Education from Bridgewater State Teachers College. Helen married Michael B. "Red" Resevic on April 19, 1946. They had three children Patricia, Priscilla Cosgrove (married to Jack) and Katrina Scott (married to Fred) and lovely grandchildren Molly and Lily Cosgrove.
Red, with Helen's constant support opened successful business in Abington and Orleans, Massachusetts and in 1961 opened a business in St Croix, US Virgin Islands.
In 2004 they moved from their home in Bridgewater to Springhouse, independent living, in Jamaica Plain. Even after Red's death in 2005 she continued to return, with her dog Ha'penny, to her home in St. Croix.
She will be missed by her children, sons-in-law, grand children and many friends at Springhouse and St Croix.
