Obituary

SPENCER: Gloria A. (Ethier) Grenier 90, formerly of 22 Lincoln St., died Monday, Nov. 12 at St. Francis Home in Worcester.

She was the wife of William N. Grenier who died in 2003. She leaves her two sons William D. Grenier and his wife Lisa of Spencer and Gary P. Grenier and his wife Kathy of No.Oxford, four grand children Roxanne Gragen and her husband Ben, Jake Grenier, Jared Greenburg and his wife Sarah and Kayla Doiron, her great grandson Xavier Greenburg, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers Andrew, Norman, David, Paul, John and Pierre and her sister Claire Badgio.

Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of Elphege D. and Emma Rose (Frigon) Ethier. She graduated from David Prouty High School in 1940 where she captained the Tennis and Softball teams.

Gloria was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish. She was an avid New England Sports fan. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at St. Francis Home for their compassionate care of Gloria.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 11a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tri Valley Elder Services’ Meals on Wheels, 10 Mill Street, Dudley, Ma. 01571.
