BOSTON …. Janice M. (Ryan) Farias, 56, of Fall River died Friday, July 22, 2011 after a brief illness.
She died at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
She was the wife of Robert Farias of Fall River.
She was born in Frankfort, Germany a daughter of the late William J. and Mary (Bois) Ryan and had lived most of her life in Fall River.
She was employed as a Binder with Elsbre File of Fall River until her retirement.
Mrs. Farias enjoyed Elvis memorabilia, bingo, dancing, and coffee with her friends.
Survivors include her husband, a son Michael D. Ryan and his wife Lorie of Orlando, FL, 2 step-sons: Robert Farias of Taunton and Brian Farias of Providence, a step-daughter Lisa Cameron and her husband Brad of CA, 2 brothers: William Ryan and his wife Debra of Fall River, and Michael Ryan and his wife Marie of Ocoee, FL, 3 sisters: Rita Saunders and her husband Emerson and Carol Ryan all of Lakeland, FL, Sandra LaRochelle of Fall River, 3 grandchildren, beloved nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late June E. Ryan.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 7:45 PM at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Calling hours Tuesday 5 – 7:45 PM. Kindly Omit Flowers.
