FALL RIVER… Theresa M. (Truver) Luzitano, 84 of Tiverton, RI passed away Thursday November 8, 2012 at St. Anne’s Hospital following a brief illness.
She was the widow of the late Tiberio Luzitano.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, she a daughter of the late George T. and Cora (Phaneuf) Truver, and had been living in Tiverton since 1995.
Mrs. Luzitano was a communicant of the former Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in Fall River where she was a very active in the choir. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, singing, bingo and puzzles.
Survivors include 2 sons: George T. Luzitano and his wife Mary of Somerset and Donald R. Luzitano of Fall River, 3 brothers: Donald Truver of Somerset, Alfred Truver of Newport, RI and Michael Truver of California, 3 grandchildren: Mary Beth Luzitano, Gregory Luzitano, and Matthew Luzitano, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Doris Circosta, George T. Truver, Robert Truver, Charles Truver and John Truver.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 8 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at St. Bernadette’s Parish, 529 Eastern Ave., Fall River. At the request on the family there will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
