Obituary

Bob Golden passed away quietly Friday, November 9, 2012. He is survived by his 3 children, Russell, Lisa and Darlene, and his 3 brothers Marty of South Portland, Arthur of Milford, and Frank of Winchester. Bob lived life one day at a time. In the beginning it was a rough road filled with many potholes, but Bob’s choice was to fill in those potholes and create a wonderful life. Through his association with Alcoholics Anonymous, Bob helped save many people and created wonderful friendships. Bob was sober 35 years.

Bob worked for over 30 years with Polaroid until settling in with his current job at the EPA of Massachusetts. He was also a proud member of the Massachusetts Society of Professional Engineers, and equally proud of his association with Mathworks. Bob loved to ski, play golf, and take many trips to visit his children and grandchildren. He also loved to talk about those many trips to see his children and grandchildren.

Remember Bob, my Dad, for the loving caring man he was and for those lives he touched and helped shape “One Day at a Time”.

Following cremation, calling hours were held on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 10am to 11:30am at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
