New Bedford – Barbara L. (Titus) Wilbur, 84, of Fairhaven died unexpectedly at St. Luke’s Hospital on November 8, 2012. She was the widow of Granville W. Wilbur, Jr.
Mrs. Wilbur was born in Boston, daughter of the late Thomas P. and Susan B. (Drew) Titus, and resided in Acushnet most of her life. She attended Acushnet-Wesley United Methodist Church. She was employed by the U.S. Coast Guard as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She was a sports fan and especially a devoted Red Sox fan.
Survivors include her son: Bruce W. Wilbur and his fiancée Cheryl Costa; 2 grandchildren: Heather Gonsalves and Jeffrey Wilbur; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
She was mother of the late Suzanne M. Wilbur and sister of the late Robert and Thomas Titus.

Funeral services at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.
Interment in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet.
