BRIDGEWATER - Robert M. McCrillis, 55, of Bridgewater, formerly of East Bridgewater, died Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Sheryl R. (Estabrook) (Hudson) McCrillis.
Born Nov. 1, 1948 in Somerville, he was the son of the late Maurice and Margaret (Rockwell) McCrillis.
He was a Bridgewater resident for the past 12 years, coming from East Bridgewater.
Mr. McCrillis was an engineer at N-Star Electric in Westwood for 33 years.
He graduated from Northeastern University with an engineering degree.
Mr. McCrillis was a U.S. Marine and enjoyed traveling, woodworking and gardening.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Laura McCrillis of New York; two stepsons, Christopher M. Hudson of Waterford, Conn., and Matthew S. Hudson of Raynham; a sister, Susan deAguir of Plymouth; two brothers, Carl McCrillis of Quincy and John McCrillis of East Bridgewater; two grandchildren, Colin Hudson and Amanda hart; two aunts, Mary Rockwell of Abington and Barbara Lawrence of Braintree and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
