Thelma Hefner
Martinez, GA- Thelma Hefner, 88, of Martinez, Ga. passed away on November 6, 2012. Thelma was born in Heburn on Tyne, England on March 22, 1924.
Thelma was married on December 7, 1948 to her surviving spouse, Roy L. Hefner (CMDSGTMAJ - Retired U.S Army). Thelma was the mother of 3 sons, Alan (deceased) and is survived by sons, James and Edward. She is also survived by 2 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grand children. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews both in the U.S. and England.
A memorial service will be held in her memory limited to family and a few close friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. James Harris officiating.
