ALLAMANDOLA, Santina (nee Nicoletti), 93, of New Milford, NJ passed on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at her home on River Road in New Milford. Santina was born on November 2, 1919 in Greenwich Village, New York City. Married to Louis Allamandola on July 15, 1945, she moved to New Milford with her husband and their three children in 1955. She devoted her life to her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She has been a long time parishioner at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church of Oradell-New Milford. Predeceased by her husband in 1964, she leaves behind her three children and their families: Louis Jr. and Mary Allamandola, Laura and Charles DeSena, Robert and Judy Allamandola and six grandchildren Monica, Patrick, Amanda, Michelle, David Kees and Anthony and two great grandchildren Cyrus and Kaylin. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, from 5-9 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home at 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, at the corner of Elm and Grand Streets, Oradell, NJ. Burial will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave, in Mahwah, NJ.
