Obituary

Edith Reynolds, 87, formerly of Mechanic Street, North Smithfield, died Monday, November 5, 2012 at Home and Hospice Care of RI. She was the widow of William L. Walker and James F. Reynolds.

Born in Chelsea, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late James D. and Elizabeth (Lagacy) Bulris. She had lived in North Smithfield for many years.

She had worked as a winder and mender before retiring but her passion was her music. She sang and played the guitar since she was 16. Known as Pat, The Yodeling Cowgirl, she performed all over New England. She was a member of the Westones and the Smithfield Emblem Club and the former Union Chapel.

She is survived by her children: Sybil A. Walker of Harrisville, Michael A. Walker of Montville, Maine, Linda J. Rothwell of Smithfield, Chester W. Walker of Bradford, RI, Robert R. Walker of North Smithfield and Cindy L. Walker-Gingell, 20 grandchildren,14 great grandchildren; her stepchildren: Janet Reynolds of Woonsocket, Jeffery Reynolds of North Smithfield, Joan Reynolds of Woonsocket, Joseph Reynolds of Pascoag, John Reynolds of North Smithfield and 11 step grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Randy W. Walker and stepmother of the late James F. Reynolds, Jr.

Committal Service Friday at 11am in Highland Memorial Park, One Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
