Joyce, Patricia C. (McCaffrey) of Quincy, died November 5, 2012.
Beloved wife of 54 years of the late Joseph T. Joyce.
Loving mother of Joseph T. Joyce, Jr. and his wife Jacqueline of Quincy, Brenda Sprague and her husband Patrick of Canton and Mark Joyce and his wife Patricia of Stoughton. Sister of the late John McCaffrey and Joan Bagley. Cherished grandmother of Samuel, Matthew, Kelli and Ryan Joyce.
Patricia was born and raised in Dorchester. She was a graduate of Dorchester High School. Patricia worked for the Quincy Public Schools as a lunch mother for 30 years before retiring in 2001.
She enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading, coffee at Friendly's with her friends, bowling, dancing and the Theater were among some of her favorite pastimes. Patricia was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family making sure that their childhood was rich with family love and tradition which would later become the foundation of all that was truly important to her.
She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother who valued honesty and doing good for others. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
