Hanrahan, Rosemary E. (Goode) of Quincy, died November 4, 2012.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas B. Hanrahan. Loving mother of Thomas B. Hanrahan of El Segundo, CA, Mary A. Hanrahan and her husband Garrett Keenan of Amherst, NH and Punta Gorda, FL, Edward C. Hanrahan of Quincy, James C. Hanrahan of Mansfield, Janet M. Hanrahan of Weymouth and Rosemary Hanrahan of Boston. Sister of Barbara McLaughlin of Quincy, Edward Goode of Quincy, Gerald Goode of Arizona and the late Charles and Thomas Goode. Cherished grandmother of Zachary and Joseph Hanrahan, Christopher Page, Janine Hanrahan, James Hanrahan and Lacey Black.
Rosemary was born in Boston and was a resident of Quincy for the past 76 years. She was a graduate of North Quincy High School Class of 1941. Rosemary worked for Verizon for 15 years as a Telephone Operator before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Pioneers Club. Rosemary was a parishioner of Star of the Sea Parish in Squantum for many years and more recently Sacred Heart Church in North Quincy. She enjoyed traveling with her family and with her senior groups. Most of all Rosemary's family was her true passion, they were the cornerstone of her life. She will be missed by her family who loved her so much.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
