TEWKSBURY - Howard D. Hall, 52, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, died November 2, 2012 at home unexpectedly. He was born on February 24, 1960, in Lowell Massachusetts; he was the beloved husband of Justine R. (Surprenant) Hall, for 28 years, married on June 30, 1984. He was the son of late Ruth Surprenant and the late Howard C. Hall.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1977-1980 as a Rifleman achieving rank SPEC. 4 receiving an honorable discharge. He started basic and advanced infantry training at Fort Benning, GA. Graduating 101st air assault. While in the 101st he was recognized for outstanding achievement several times. His decorations are Air Assault badge; expert .45 pistols, m60 and m16, also awarded good conduct medal.
He was an employee at Industrial Video and Control in Newton Mass as a Manufacturing Manager for the past 6 years.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as: hunting, camping, fishing, canoeing, and his most recent passion was skydiving.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his five children, Lea, Sabrenna, Samantha, Howard and Eric. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Phillip, Jordan, Jacob, Julia, James, Kevin, Aaden, and Shane. He was the brother of Deborah Hall, Linda Hall, and the late Candace Hall. Also he leaves behind four Brother-in-laws Richard Surprenant, Ronald Surprenant, Phillip Courshaine, Dean LeBeau, and two sister-in-laws Linda LeBeau and Pearl Courshaine, and three son-in-laws Justin Mercier, Kevin Rogers, James Cusenza. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Services will be held at the Tewksbury Cemetery, East St Tewksbury, at 2pm Friday November 9, 2012.
