Franks, Genevieve A. (Kulczak) of Duxbury, formerly of North Scituate, Cohasset and Port Richie, FL passed away November 5, 2012 at the age of 93. Dear wife of the late John A. Franks. Loving mother of Janice Smith and her husband Captain Jan of Florida, Jacqueline McGoodwin and her husband Robert of Duxbury, Joyce Nagel and her husband Christopher of South Carolina and John A. Franks Jr. and his wife Teri of Florida. Loving grandmother of Janine Miller of FL, James Smith of FL, Stephen Smith of DE , Jeffrey Smith of FL, Whitney Fulmer of Duxbury, Rob McGoodwin of Duxbury, Patrick Nagel of Dubai and Jonathan Nagel of MD. Loving great grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Virginia Ridlon of Tyngsboro and the late William Kulch and Henry Kulczak. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Genevieve was born and raised in Webster, MA. She was educated in Boston. Genevieve was an avid golfer and bridge player. She was a member at Hatherly Country Club and Scituate Harbor Yacht Club. Genevieve was a former member of St. Anthony’s Church in Cohasset. She sang in the choir at Holy Family Church in Duxbury. Genevieve loved to sing and was a voracious reader.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139, Marshfield on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St., Duxbury at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in Holy Family Cemetery Rockland.
