Robert C. Goguen, Sr., 73, of Worcester, died Friday, November 2nd in UMass Memorial Hospital. He leaves three sons, Jeffrey R. Goguen of Paxton, Robert C. Goguen, Jr. and Henry E. Goguen, both of Worcester; two daughters, Lisa M. Toscano and Christine M. Goguen, both of Worcester; a step daughter, Michelle L. Cormier of Worcester; a brother, Donald E. Fitzpatrick of Leicester; a sister, Marie A. Wilmot of Worcester; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, William Fitzpatrick and a sister, Barbara Capezzuto.
He was born in Peekskill, NY, the son of Chester M. Goguen and Agnes (Suprenant) Goguen Fitzpatrick and lived here for many years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Bob was a truck driver for many years for paving companies and a lumber company. He was also a DJ, known as “DJ Bob.”
The funeral is Tuesday, November 6th with a service at 11:00 A.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
