David W. Allen, Jr., 64, of Westport died Friday, November 2, 2012. He was son of the late David W. and Wilda (Sargent) Allen.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, Mr. Allen was a long time resident of Westport. His passion was photography which he enjoyed both personally and professionally through his teachings at Westport High School and UMass Dartmouth. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Allen is survived by his 3 children: Benjamin D. Allen and his wife Erin of Assonet, Courtney A. Kane and her husband Trafford of Swansea and Nathaniel D. Allen of Westport; his sister: Patricia A. Noble and her husband Jerry of Winter Haven, FL; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the United Congregational Church of Little Compton, 1 Commons, Little Compton, RI at 11:00 A.M.
Interment will be private.
