Nichole Harper, 18, of Ocilla, died Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Irwin County, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Ocilla, with the Rev. John Gibbs, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Brushy Creek Cemetery, Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Saturday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Nichole was born May 12, 1994 in Tifton to Tony Harper and Psyche Pope. She was a 2012 graduate of Berrien County High School where she played trumpet in the band. She also played softball for the rec league. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother: Psyche Pope and friend, Wayne Hobby of Abbeville; father: Tony & Crystal Harper of Nashville; sister: Dene Harper of Ocilla; brother: Aubrey Harper of Nashville; sisters: Ivy Harper and Kaylee Eubanks, both of Nashville, and Christen Sutton and Stephanie Sutton, both of Fitzgerald; grandparents: Barbara & Ottis Harper of Ocilla, Janet & Steve Sheppard of Fitzgerald, and Jimmy & Melodie Vowell of Nashville and great-grandparents: Lora Harper and Lenora Pope of Ocilla and Audrey Cyr of Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her grandfather: Terry Pope and great-grandparents: Herbert Shealey, David Cyr, John Aubrey Harper, Leonard Pope and Helen Harper Pope.
