Obituary

Mrs. Madeline V. (Clark) Heslin, age 89, November 1, 2012, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Woburn, Madeline was the devoted daughter of the late Abbie (Tracey) Clark & Edward Clark.

Madeline was a life long Woburn resident. A 1941 graduate of Woburn High School, Madeline went on to continue her education as a business student at Fisher College. After commencement, Madeline was first employed by Henry N Clark and worked for various employers throughout her life, including the IRS and The Woburn Boys Club. In 1970, Madeline began working for the City of Woburn Collectors Office and retired as Head Clerk in 1992. She was a former member of the St. Charles Women’s club and enjoyed knitting, reading, bowling and bingo. Madeline loved to travel and some of her more memorable destinations were visits to Ireland, England, France and Aruba.

Madeline was the wife of the late John W. Heslin. Devoted mother of Eileen Dixon and her husband John Dixon, Elaine Loiselle and her husband John Loiselle, Elizabeth Heslin, John Heslin and Erin Heslin all of Woburn. Loving grandmother of Jacqueline Durant and her husband Matthew, John Dixon, Danielle Dixon, Christopher Loiselle and his wife Lisa, Timothy Loiselle and his wife Laura, and Matthew Loiselle. Sister of the late Edward Clark, Thomas Clark, Mary Walsh, Margaret Scanlon, Rita Casey and John Clark. Sister-in-law of Barbara Clark of Burlington and Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews, including William Scanlon of Georgia.

Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN Monday, Nov. 5th at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., WOBURN at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3 thru 7PM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
