MIDDLETON - Peter Johnson, of Middleton, husband of the late Alice M. (McCourt) Johnson, died Wednesday morning, October 31, 2012 at the age of 107.
Mr. Johnson was born in Boston and was a resident of Middleton for most of his life.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the General Electric Company and worked at both the Everett and Lynn plants. He also enjoyed operating the Johnson Family Farm in Middleton for many years. He was well known and well liked in the community.
He is survived by four children, Lillian Prince of Pasadena, CA, Patricia A. Gove of Flagler Beach, FL, Peter A. Johnson of Placida, FL, Linda Guttrich of Weston, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11 am at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. A visitation will be held Monday, from 10 to 11 am prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial is in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton.
