Clifton A. Walent, age 71, of Pembroke, formerly of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 29, 2012.
He was the beloved husband of Nancy (DeWitt) Walent for 45 years; devoted father of James Walent & his wife Kristine of East Bridgewater and Cmdr. Daniel Walent & his wife Shannon of MD; loving grandfather of Michelle, Meagan, Maddie, Hannah and Ricky; dear brother of Philip Walent & his wife Marlene of CA and Clifton's twin brother, Dr. Carl Walent & his wife Patricia of Hanson.
Cliff enjoyed spending his time with his children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful, caring and loving father and grandfather. He was gentle and kind and a friend to all.
Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Monday, November 5, from 4:00-8:00 PM.
Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Pembroke, on Tuesday, November 6 at 9:00 AM, followed by his funeral Mass at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Hanson, at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be private.
