Mrs. Margo R. (Robson) Turpening, a resident of Andover for more than 34 years and beloved wife of Roger M. Turpening, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, October 22, 2012. She was 72 years old.
Born in Romulus, Michigan, on December 8, 1939, Margo was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Floretta (Bower) Robson. Mrs. Turpening was a graduate of Cleary College in Ypsilanti, Michigan and worked as an Executive Secretary for Arthur D. Little for many years. Along with her husband, she was an auto sports fan and enjoyed working at the track as a Timer and Control Worker. Margo also loved to play the piano and travel to Ragtime Jazz concerts. She was also a member of the North Shore Rock & Mineral Club.
Besides her beloved husband Roger, Margo will be very sorely missed by her three loving brothers and sisters-in-law; Robert and his wife Arlene Robson of Romulus, Michigan, Donald and his wife Emily Robson of Sandpoint, Idaho and Lynn and his wife Arlene Robson of Van Buren, Michigan and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, on Sunday, November 4, 2012, at 2 PM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance.
