Addison VT. – Justine R. Wagner, 97, died Oct. 26, 2012 at the Mountain View Center, in Rutland Vermont.
Born in Manchester, N.H. on Sept. 19, 1915, she was the daughter of Julien and Esther (Legendre) Richard.
After retiring in1971 as Deputy Sheriff at the Hillsborough County jail, Mrs. Wagner spent 20 years in Jensen Beach, Fl. enjoying fishing in the sun, and fun filled activities especially participating in song-fests and musicals at the Nettles Island Resort. She returned to New England in 1998 to be with family and friends and resided in Addison, VT for 14 years. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Bernadette’s Church in Bridport, VT and St. Mary’s Church in Middlebury and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Over the last five years she enjoyed participating in activities with other seniors at Project Independence.
Justine was predeceased by her husband William A. Wagner, Sr., 1998, and her son Richard William Wagner, 2003.
Family members include her son William & his wife Jeannette (Belanger) Wagner, daughter in law Connie (Boufford) Wagner, her sister, Mrs. Armand (Cecile) Capistran, eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 13th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Marie’s Church, Notre Dame Ave., Manchester, N.H. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
