HOLDEN: Scott Michael Lucchesi, 35, died on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester following a brief illness.
He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on September 12, 1977 the son of the late Ronald Vincent Lucchesi who died in September of 1999 and Barbara Ann (Brindley) Lucchesi of Marlborough formerly of Cochituate.
Besides his mother Barbara, he is survived by his brothers, Lucas W. Lucchesi of Marlborough; Jeffrey A. Lucchesi of Fall River and Robert P. Ames of Millbury. He was the nephew of Michael Lucchesi of Blackstone; Donna Brunelle of Woonsocket, RI; Richard Lucchesi of Woonsocket, RI; Scott Brindley of Marlborough and Douglas Brindley and his wife Linda of Framingham. He is also survived by his niece Lili Ames and several cousins.
Scott resided in Woonsocket, RI for several years before moving with his family to Cochituate. He graduated from Wayland High School with the Class of 1996. For many years he was associated as a retail clerk with Stop and Shop in Framingham. He loved all sports especially football and the Dallas Cowboys. He was an accomplished painter, loved action movies and playing video games. Scott lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. In recent years he has resided at the Wachusett Extended Care Facility in Holden, was active in the residential community and was the President of its Council. He enjoyed participating in the many activities he shared with his residential family.
Visitations will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to his memorial service at 11:00 on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off Route 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Lucchesi family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Cochituate.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests that memorial gifts in Scott’s memory may be sent to the American Lung Assn of MA/ Waltham, 460 Totten Pond Rd, Waltham, MA 02451.
