DONNA L. MAYBERRY GREENBERG, age 57, died at her home in Scituate on Wednesday, June 9th after battling cancer for almost 9 years. She was born and raised in Quincy, and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She then graduated from the University of New Hampshire. Mrs. Mayberry Greenberg was a resident of Holden, MA for 20 years before coming to Scituate 16 years ago. Until the time of her passing, she was employed for many years at the Hingham Town Offices; first as Assistant to the Selectman and most recently as the Benefits Administrator for the town.She was a member of the First Parish (Old Ship) Church in Hingham, where she was a past president of their Board of Trustees.She leaves her husband, Allan C. Greenberg of Scituate, and two sons; Andrew A. Mayberry of Hudson, MA and Sean Greenberg of Baltimore, MD. She was the niece of Lois Dougherty and her husband Leo of Braintree, Elaine Hubbell of Camden, Maine and Edward "Bud" Warmington and his wife Phyllis of Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Brockton.A Service celebrating her life will be conducted on Saturday, July 10th at 1 PM at the Old Ship Church, 90 Main St., Hingham, MA 02043.Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. In lieu of flowers and all else for the family, donations in her memory would be preferred to the Social Action Endowment Fund of the Old Ship Church or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, MA 02445.The interment is to be private.
