Camilla Bracy Welch
Camilla Bracy Welch, age 88, Clarksville, TN died Friday October 26, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
She was born February 22, 1924 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Christopher (Kit) Bracy and Iona Carrigan Bracy. She was also preceded in death by her husband A. Watson Welch, Jr and twelve brothers and sisters.
She was a member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was retired from Clarksville Memorial Hospital where she was a nurse.
Survivors include son Jerry Welch (Becki), Clarksville; daughter Janet Rice (Ernie), Clarksville; brother, Rev. Russell Bracy, Ft. Worth, TX; sister Christine Durham, Clarksville; four grandchildren: Brian Welch, Matt Welch (Monica), Heidi Reed (Mike), and Whitney Durham (Japeth); and eight great grandchildren: Maya and Thea and Ella Welch, Evangeline and Verena Welch, Carrigan and Kennedy Reed and Pierce Durham.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 12:30 P.M. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Russell Bracy and Bro. Jeff Stovall officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 4 to 7 P.M. and Sunday 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brian Welch, Matt Welch, Japeth Durham, Mike Reed, Don Winters, Rodney Lockerman, David Welch, Ron Welch, and David Barbee.
