Anna Louise (Bernardi) Ingram, 92, passed away on October 24, 2012 in Twin Oaks Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late David Ingram.
Born in Everett on April 8, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Armando and Carmella (Ferrnati) Bernardi. Anna graduated from Everett High School in 1938 and she attended Boston University for a year. She was employed with General Electric during WWII. Anna enjoyed gardening, dancing, bingo and bocci. She was also active at the Danvers Senior Center.
She is survived by her daughter Dianne “Dee” Boyden of Ipswich, her granddaughter Edana Young and her husband John of Ipswich, her great grandchildren, Alex, Andrew, Maddey and Carter Young and her sister Ella Vinchesi and her husband Andrew of Reading. She was predeceased by her siblings, Armando, Leo, Frank and Pat Bernardi and Martha Rocchi, Teresa Mastracola, Mary Leeman and Evelyn Bernardi.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in St. Richard Parish, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. The family will receive friends and family from 8:30-9:30AM prior to the Mass at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Anna’s name to the Friends of Danvers Council on Aging, 25 Stone St., Danvers, MA 01923.
