Marion D. Johnson, 81

Dateline: Attleboro, MA

Marion D. (Largesse) Johnson, 81, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert Johnson.
Born in Worcester, MA on July 9, 1931, she was a dear daughter of the late Adelard N. and Helen G. Largesse.
Marion grew up in and was educated in the Auburn and Worcester area. She had made her home in Attleboro for most of her life.
A dedicated homemaker to her loving family, Mrs. Johnson had attended St. Joseph’s Church and the LaSalette Shrine, both in Attleboro. When not in the presence of her family, her favorite times spent were those playing bingo.
She is survived by her devoted children, Mary Heckbert and her husband Ken of Foxboro, Wayne D. Gero and his wife Kim most recently of Arizona, formerly of Rehoboth, Elaine Gero of Pawtucket and Aprilyn Smith of North Adams. She was the stepmother of Carol Murphy of Attleboro, Brenda Bowser of Raynham, Kathy Maney of Mansfield and Ernest Johnson of Wareham. She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers and is also survived by 5 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Sunday, October 28th from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will be private.
