Margaret F. (Preziosa) Vargas passed away on October 23, 2012. She was 76 years old. Margaret was born in Arlington and was a lifelong resident of Malden.
Margaret was the devoted wife of 25 years to the late Emmanuel “Manny” Vargas. She was the beloved mother of Frank Giuffre and his wife Erin of New Hampshire, John Giuffre and his wife Brigette of Tewksbury, Rosanne Katz and her husband Lawrence of Malden, Stephen Giuffre of Tewksbury and the late Marina Berriola.
Margaret was the dear sister of Marie Smith and her husband Paul of Malden, John Preziosa and his wife Linda of Melrose and Jeanette Shea and her husband Bill of Burlington. She was the cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and great grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, October 26th from 4-8 p.m. A service will be held at 7:30 p.m. during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
