JANE P. KEIRNAN, a Hingham resident for 55 years, died on October 21, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Jane served the Town of Hingham in many capacities, including as tax assessor, member of the Advisory Board and as a trustee of the Hingham Public Library. She graduated from Classical High School in Providence, Rhode Island and Wellesley College. She was the devoted wife of the late William B. Keirnan of Hingham; beloved mother of Sharon and her husband Michael DuFrane, Meredith Dunbar, Victoria Keirnan and Dennis MacDonald; loving sister of Robert Potter of Los Angeles; devoted grandmother of Xanthra, Sarah, Carter and Benjamin DuFrane and great-grandmother of Lucia Kolk. The memorial service and interment are private. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
