Obituary

William Cornelius Reynolds, 92, formerly of Margaretville, NY passed away at home in Tewksbury, MA surrounded by family on October 21, 2012.

Bill was born in Roxbury, NY on September 3, 1920. He graduated from Roxbury Central School, and served in the United States Army during WWII as a Sergeant of the Quartermaster Automotive Mechanic Division in Burma, India from 1943 to 1945. He was employed with GAF (General Aniline and Film) Corporation in Linden, NJ as a Valve and Instrument Technician from 1946 to 1982.

Bill enjoyed fishing, traveling, working on repair projects and cars, watching NASCAR races and Fox TV.

He is predeceased by his wife of 36 years Eileen Jamison Reynolds, his daughter Patricia Brown Reynolds and his loving companion of 21 years Jean More Porter.
He is survived by his daughter Virginia (Ginny) Reynolds Pierson and her husband Cliff and grandson Joshua Reynolds Pierson all of Cromwell, CT; Elizabeth (Betsy) Reynolds Rayner and her husband Jed of Tewksbury, MA; his nephew Davis Deane and his wife Lee, and his niece Susan Deane Sargent all of Assonet, MA; as well as extended family.

Burial will take place Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Roxbury, NY.
