Lorraine M. (Bruzzese) L’Bassi, 77, of Hudson, MA, died Friday, Oct. 19th surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin M. L’Bassi who died in 2002.
Lorraine was born and raised in Everett, daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Melanson) Bruzzese. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Everett High School. She was a longtime resident of Hudson and was employed as a legal secretary for many years with the Kittredge & Giannetti Law Office of Hudson until her retirement. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.
Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family. She devoted her spare time and took great pride in the care of her home and raising her family. She especially enjoyed the times she spent with her loving grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, Benjamin L’Bassi and his wife Christine of Shrewsbury, Michael L’Bassi and his wife Virginia of Sterling and Christina Morley and her husband Thomas of Reading. She also leaves her 8 grandchildren and 2 nieces.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 24th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Tuesday, October 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
