SCITUATE – Paul “BB” Sanborn Gunn of Scituate passed away peacefully on Oct. 4 at home after a long illness. He was 62 years old. Son of the late Paul Gunn and Renda Irene (Sanborn) Gunn of Canton, CT, Paul is survived by his devoted wife Mary Sprague and three sons, Adrian Gunn and his wife Nicole, of Carver, Alexander Gunn & Paul Graeme Gunn both of Scituate; sisters Renda Dowling of Purceville, VA and her late husband Robert and Pam Rice and her husband Tom of Canton, CT; brother Peter Gunn and his wife Brigid of Granby, CT; and 14 nieces and nephews.
Paul grew up in Canton and Norwell and graduated from the University of MA in 1972. An avid boater, he received his Master License for 100 tons from the Mass Maritime Academy in 1999. His career in sales began at Flying Tigers where he was the Airline Terminal Manager; in 1992 he joined Sprague Air Controls as an account manager and served as President before joining The Hope Group in XXXX.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10–11:30 am at the 1st Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way, Scituate, and will be followed by a service at 11:30 am.
