Michael J. John D.M.D. of Carlisle passed away October 18, 2012. He was 63 years old.
Mike operated his own dental practice for 20 years. He later joined a practice in Townsend and had the opportunity to work with the dental residents of Tufts University, but Mike’s life’s work was dedicated to helping the special people at the Fernald School and the Tewksbury State Hospital. Mike was an avid golfer and comic book collector, and loved Boston sports, especially the Red Sox.
Mike was the dear and devoted husband of Judy A. (Bethoney) John. Loving father of Eric M. John and Jeremy A. John, both of Carlisle. Dear brother of Miriam R. Rosa and her husband Joseph of Weymouth. Brother-in-law of Betty and Wayne Petersen of Hanson, and Alice and Rocky Smith of Mansfield. Mike is also survived by Kenneth John of Natick as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many dear friends.
Visiting hours were held October 22, 2012 at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
